Overview
This Foundation program introduces the purpose, structure and principal requirements of ISO/IEC 42001, helping learners understand how an artificial intelligence management system supports responsible oversight, operational controls and continual improvement. It is an introductory route rather than an implementer or auditor qualification.

- Day 1 — Introduction to AIMS and ISO/IEC 42001.
- Day 2 — AIMS requirements and foundation examination.
Prerequisites
PECB states that no prerequisites are required to enroll.
Exam & Certification
After the required course and a passing exam, candidates may apply for the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation; PECB Code of Ethics applies. This is not a Lead credential.
Official PECB exam scheduling, rescheduling, certification, retake and other rules apply. Review the current PECB requirements before enrolling.
