The Lead Implementer route focuses on putting an information security management system into practice: defining scope and responsibilities, coordinating implementation, applying risk-based measures, monitoring performance and planning continual improvement under ISO/IEC 27001.

- Day 1 — ISO/IEC 27001 fundamentals and implementation initiation.
- Day 2 — ISMS implementation planning.
- Day 3 — ISMS implementation.
- Day 4 — Monitoring, improvement and audit readiness.
- Day 5 — Certification examination.
Prerequisites
PECB identifies general knowledge of ISMS concepts and ISO/IEC 27001 as the main prerequisite for this training course.
Exam & Certification
PECB awards the selected credential only when its exam, professional experience, project experience and ethics requirements are fulfilled. Provisional and other levels exist.
Official PECB exam scheduling, rescheduling, certification, retake and other rules apply. Review the current PECB requirements before enrolling.
